Chicken Mandhi Recipe | Easy Homemade Chicken Mandhi without Cooker

Hi all, first of all I wish each and everyone of you a Happy Bakr-Eid. May this festival of sacrifice, faith and purity abundant your life with joy and good health.

Today I will be sharing a delicious Chicken Mandhi recipe with you guys. I created this recipe, tried it out for the first time and was very much satisfied with the result.

Even though its the time to celebrate, you should take extra care to limit those celebrations and at the same time

So with that said, lets gets started with the ingredients needed:

1. Basmati Rice - 500gm
2. Chicken - 1kg
3. Onion - 1
4. Carrot - 1
5. Ginger Garlic Paste - as per your taste
6. Vegetable oil
7. Cinnamon - 2 inch
8. Cardamom - 5-7
9. Pepper - 1 tsp
10. Bay leaves - 2
11. Dried Lemon - 1
12. Chilly - 3
13. Maggi Cube - 1
14. Mandhi Masala - 2 tbsp
15. Salt
16. Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
17. Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
18. Kashmiri Chilly Powder - 2 tbsp
19. Butter

Mandhi Masala

1. Corriander - 4 tbsp
2. Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
3. Pepper - 1 tbsp
4. Cloves - 4 nos
5. Cardamom - 5 nos
6. Cinnamon - 2 inch
7. Star Anise - 1 nos
8. Mace - 1 nos

In order to make this Mandhi Masala, heat all this on a pan and be careful to not burn the cumin seeds. Its suggested to add them just before you turn off the flame. Set this aside to cool and grind it using a mixer grinder into a fine powder.

You could increase or decrease the amount of Mandhi Masala added to this recipe. However the 1 tbsp added to the rice doesn't give any strong feel of the masala. Try out what suits you and enjoy this recipe. Also, don't forget to checkout my YouTube Channel.
